Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to convert vendor specifications into mapping documents and align data with Enterprise Data Platform structures. You will liaise between business units, vendors, and technical teams to ensure data is properly integrated, transformed, and delivered across the analytics ecosystem.

The role requires 3+ years in data analysis, strong Excel/SQL/Power BI skills, and experience with data mapping and QA/UAT activities within healthcare domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data mapping, ETL, data warehouse, or related data environments.
• Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, Databricks.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate vendor file specifications, layouts, and requirements into detailed data mapping documentation.
• Serve as a liaison among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams for data integration and delivery.
• Support data quality, data governance, and data stewardship activities.
• Communicate findings clearly to operational, clinical, finance, or executive stakeholders.
