Job summary
The Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst – Data & Analytics with Healthcare Experience to bridge business and technical teams in delivering healthcare data solutions. You will gather requirements, translate into specifications, perform complex data analysis, and support reporting and operational initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Business Analysis, including requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare business processes and healthcare data analysis.
- Experience working with Claims, Claims Adjudication, Medicare, and/or Medicaid programs.
- Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience using MS SQL Server.
- Experience working with GCP and BigQuery for data analysis and data validation activities.
- Proven experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements documentation.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in Agile delivery teams.
- Experience performing data mapping, reconciliation, impact analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating UAT activities and supporting end-to-end project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Gathers, analyzes, and documents healthcare data and analytics requirements.
- Partners with stakeholders to understand processes, data needs, and reporting.
- Conducts requirements workshops to define scope and solution requirements.
- Creates and manages user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Performs data analysis using SQL, MS SQL Server, and GCP/BigQuery.
- Performs data mapping, reconciliation, impact analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborates with data engineering, analytics, QA, and business teams.
- Participates in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
- Coordinates UAT activities and supports issue resolution.
- Manages risks, dependencies, and timelines aligned to objectives.
- Communicates project status and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Supports end-to-end delivery ownership for data/analytics in healthcare.
