Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst – Data & Analytics with Healthcare Experience. You will bridge business and technical teams to deliver healthcare data solutions, lead requirements discovery, and ensure alignment with reporting and analytics objectives.

Leverage SQL, MS SQL Server, and GCP/BigQuery to validate and map data across systems, supporting Agile delivery, UAT, and cross-functional collaboration for successful implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Healthcare data analysis experience with claims, Medicare or Medicaid preferred.
• Advanced SQL skills and MS SQL Server experience.
• Experience with GCP/BigQuery for data analysis and validation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for healthcare data and analytics initiatives.
• Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and impact analysis across systems.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and UAT activities.
• Collaborate with data engineering, QA, and analytics teams to ensure delivery.
