Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst – Data & Analytics with Healthcare Experience. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data and analytics solutions across healthcare processes, with strong SQL, data validation, and Agile practices.

You will lead discovery sessions, define requirements, and ensure alignment with reporting and operational goals, including UAT coordination and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, CS, healthcare, or related field.
• Strong experience in business analysis with requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Healthcare domain knowledge including claims, Medicare, and Medicaid data.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and healthcare data analysis.
• Proficiency with GCP and BigQuery for data validation and analysis.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document healthcare data & analytics requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand processes, data needs, and reporting.
• Lead requirements workshops to define project scope and solution needs.
• Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Perform data analysis using SQL, MS SQL Server, and GCP/BigQuery.
• Map data, conduct reconciliation, and analyze impact across systems.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, QA, and business teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Coordinate UAT activities and support issue resolution.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Communicate project status and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support end-to-end delivery ownership for healthcare data initiatives.
