Job summary

CannonDesign seeks a Senior Construction Project Leader to oversee preconstruction and construction phases on a Rochester, MN mega healthcare project. You will lead constructability reviews, value engineering, and schedule alignment, collaborating with the client’s team and the design professionals.

The role demands senior field leadership and a strong risk and cost discipline. Reporting to the Project Director and AEI Operations, you will manage GMPs, risk registers, and multi-party delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (or advance degree preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years in design/construction of large-scale, complex buildings.
• Experience leading mega-project delivery and coordinating design with construction.
• Healthcare, science & technology or教育 facilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and delivery readiness on a mega project.
• Translate design milestones into constructability directives for the design team.
• Oversee coordination reviews, VE/TVR discussions, and cost-conscious decisions.
• Manage field leadership, QA/QC, RFIs, substitutions, and change proposals.
• Mentor CA leaders and project engineers; drive lessons learned to operations.
