Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Healthcare Senior Professional Application Developer to design, develop, test, and support high-quality application solutions that meet business needs. You will participate in all SDLC phases and work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable healthcare software within a remote work model.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to grow technical credentials and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in programming, application development, and batch programming.
• Strong SQL, Oracle and SQL Server experience for data querying and data structures.
• Experience with system integration, scripting, software development, and SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
• Preferred experience with Medicaid IT systems, healthcare systems, and regulatory environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem solving, root cause analysis, project management, cloud platforms (Azure and AWS), and DevOps/CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support high-quality application solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and implement effective solutions.
• Analyze and resolve technical and functional issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
• Stay current with development tools and best practices to continuously improve delivery capabilities.
