Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an experienced software developer to power healthcare claims solutions. You will design, build, test, and support complex applications in a C/Unix/Linux/Oracle environment, partnering with technical leaders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

We value collaboration and continuous improvement; this is a fully remote role with occasional travel (0-10%), and opportunities to grow through leadership and technical academies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of development experience with C, Unix/Linux, Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience delivering complex solutions in enterprise or legacy application environments.
• Experience with batch automation, production support, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
• Healthcare IT or claims processing experience is strongly preferred.
• Expertise with multiple claims bundling/editing software platforms is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support complex applications and batch solutions in a C, Unix/Linux, and Oracle environment.
• Own key technical deliverables across the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation through production support.
• Partner with technical leads and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application, data, and integration issues with a focus on long-term stability and performance.
• Contribute to modernization, release readiness, and continuous improvement across a critical healthcare technology platform.
