Medica, a nonprofit health plan, seeks a Lead Analyst, Healthcare Analytics to provide reporting and analytical support for strategic employer group partners. You will design analyses to measure clinical outcomes and client performance using utilization and cost data.

This role collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to create customized reports and dashboards, translating insights into actionable strategies for better patient care and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare analytics, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years in healthcare analytics or data roles with employer group focus.
• 5+ years’ experience with SQL, SAS or Snowflake.
• Strong data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense).
• Excel proficiency and ability to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate membership and claim data to identify trends and cost/quality opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders.
• Provide strategic analytic thought leadership to account and service departments.
• Create customized reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate data insights into actions.
• Stay updated on new data technologies to enhance analytics.
