Medica is a nonprofit health plan seeking a Healthcare Analyst III to partner with Trend Analytics, linking financial performance to actionable analytics. You will influence decisions, drive affordability, and lead analytic frameworks across the organization.

You will translate business questions into analytic strategies, ensure data quality, and present insights to executives, shaping strategy and outcomes for members and providers. Office-based with onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5 years of work experience beyond degree.
• Experience with healthcare analytics, affordability metrics, and medical/pharmacy data trends.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, Python, and/or R.
• Strong data interpretation and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on healthcare analytics and data interpretation.
• Translate financial performance into actionable insights for business decisions.
• Lead analytic frameworks supporting affordability initiatives and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytic approaches.
• Ensure data integrity across reporting and analytics outputs.
• Present findings to executives and tailor insights to strategic priorities.
