Job summary

EY is seeking a PC Health and Welfare actuarial Senior Analyst to serve a diverse US and global client base. You will apply actuarial and financial analyses to health and welfare programs, including plan pricing, cost projections, budgets, and IBNR reserve work.

You will support H&W plan strategy, vendor assessments, and transactions, while contributing to due diligence, post-merger integration, and cost management. Travel flexibility and collaboration across EY are expected.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree with a concentration in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• A minimum of three years of work experience.
• Progress towards ASA/FSA or EA preferred, or equivalent continuing education.
• Willingness to travel and work longer hours when needed.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review actuarial and financial analyses for health and welfare programs.
• Model employee contribution and conduct cost projections and budget work.
• Review vendor strategy and support due-diligence activities.
• Assist with post-merger integration, funding strategies, and plan design.
• Deliver client-ready reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate across EY teams to ensure inclusive, high-quality outcomes.
