Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Health & Welfare actuary for our US PC Services team in a senior role. You will lead actuarial analyses for client health and welfare programs, advise on design and funding, and contribute to winning new work.

The role involves reviewing junior staff, managing project delivery, and collaborating with assurance, tax, and strategy teams. Travel to client sites is expected, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Five to ten years of work experience.
• Actuarial certification (ASA, FSA, or EA).
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review actuarial and financial analyses for health and welfare programs.
• Review junior staff work and prepare client deliverables.
• Advise on H&W plan strategy, funding, and cost management.
• Support vendor strategy and due diligence.
• Lead workstreams for transactions including Day 1 readiness.
• Ensure compliance analyses under ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA.
• Contribute to client satisfaction and collaboration within EY.
