Job summary

Cencora, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management to lead large, high-visibility initiatives across the Health Systems segment. You will own end-to-end delivery, align stakeholders, and create clear, executive-ready readouts.

Strong planning, communication, and tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, and Asana are required. Travel up to 20% may be needed; PMP/PgMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project or program management experience, including leading multiple high-visibility initiatives.
• Proven success in a large, highly matrixed organization.
• Experience building and presenting project readouts to senior/executive audiences.
• Strong visual communication skills with advanced PowerPoint and dashboards.
• Track record of keeping teams on schedule and driving accountability without direct authority.
• Knowledge of project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
• Willingness to travel for customer events (up to 20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for a portfolio of large, high-visibility initiatives.
• Define scope, goals, success measures, workplans, and timelines with sponsors.
• Manage multiple initiatives, balance priorities and resources as portfolio evolves.
• Plan and deliver initiatives from kickoff to close-out, including events.
• Coordinate across sales, marketing, solutions, executive, and operations teams.
• Track milestones, budgets, dependencies, and outcomes; report results on close.
• Hold cross-functional teams to timelines; elevate issues when needed.
• Identify risks and drive them to resolution.
• Build and present project readouts, status updates, and executive summaries.
• Turn data into visual dashboards and timelines; tailor messages for audiences.
• Build relationships across a matrixed organization and influence without authority.
• Establish and improve PM standards, templates, and tools.
