Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health in the United States seeks a Senior Research Analyst II to advance epidemiologic and health policy research remotely. The role allows for mentoring junior analysts and leading analytical projects with Principal Investigators.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, etc.).
• Demonstrated history of progressively more responsible statistical programming experience.
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (i.e., conducting survival analysis).
• Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and substantial knowledge in analytical approaches for health care.
• Strong oral/written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences, including sponsors and policy makers.
• Strong mentoring skills possibly including supervisory or teaching experience.
• Demonstrated Arbor Research project/contract expertise.
• Ability to run/lead subprojects with little to no intervention.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research development with lead investigators and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Contribute to design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Mentor junior analysts and lead analytic approaches with Principal Investigators.
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations in support of epidemiologic and health policy research.
• Assist authors with preparing tables and figures for inclusion in materials.
• Present results clearly to biostatisticians and clinicians and represent Arbor Research in presentations.
• Attend committee meetings, conference calls, and national/international conferences.
• Develop SAS code for completing analyses and verify accuracy of coding.
