Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a Senior Research Analyst or equivalent to advance epidemiologic and health policy research. You will design analytical approaches, develop SAS code, and mentor junior analysts while coordinating with lead investigators.

Remote work arrangement with a focus on national projects, requiring strong statistical programming and communication skills to support sponsors and policy makers.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible statistical programming experience.
• Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and analytical approaches for health care.
• Strong oral/written communication with sponsors and policy makers.
• Strong mentoring skills possibly including supervisory or teaching experience.
• Demonstrated Arbor Research project/contract expertise.
• Ability to run/lead subprojects with little to no intervention.
• Contributions to health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology via peer-reviewed publications and reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with the lead investigators to coordinate research development and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Contribute to design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Adhere to strategies and tools to ensure accuracy, programming, and documentation standards.
• Independently accomplish a wide range of analytical requests, including writing papers and analyses for funding sources and the public.
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations in support of epidemiologic and health policy research.
• Assist authors with preparing tables and figures for written materials.
• Present results clearly in public forums to biostatisticians and clinicians and represent Arbor Research.
• Attend committee meetings, conference calls, and national/international conferences.
• Contribute to writing and production of proposals for new projects.
• Develop SAS code for analyses and verify coding accuracy.
• Provide mentoring to junior analysts on statistical analyses.
