Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Senior Health Physics Technician to provide radiation protection coverage at nuclear power plants across the United States. You will report to the site manager and be located onsite at various locations.
Responsibilities include surveys, contamination checks, ALARA planning, decontamination support, and helping with the Site Emergency Plan. Requires 3.1A+ qualifications and relevant experience. Hourly pay range is $34-$40.

Provide Radiation Protection coverage and oversight for power-plant activates. In addition to providing job coverage, certain routine tasks may be assigned determined by individual certifications, qualifications, and skills. Types of tasks RP Technicians may perform include the following:
Senior Health Physics Technician 3.1A or above. (3.1A requires 2,000 hours of commercial nuclear power combined with a systematic approach to training).
Knowledge of radiation safety principles, regulations, and industry standards.
Knowledge of radiation detection and measurement equipment, including calibration and quality control.
