Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks a Senior Application Analyst to lead the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of complex healthcare application systems across the enterprise.

This role partners with the user community to resolve technical problems and performance issues, coordinates large projects, and develops documentation to ensure secure, reliable and cost‑effective system environments in alignment with Renown Health policies.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology, health care, science, business field, or an equivalent level of professional experience preferred.
• 6+ years' experience working in an Information Technology or Healthcare setting.
• 6+ years in healthcare application analysis or application configuration and support experience.
• Certification(s): Application Certification, Accreditation or Proficiency may be required on application(s).
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Leads the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of new and existing systems for assigned applications.
• Provides internal project coordination on all assigned applications and system upgrades.
• Partners with project management on strategic projects and coordinates with customers to resolve technical problems and performance issues.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation including naming conventions, change control, environment management and security classifications.
• Demonstrates ability to work on multiple tasks with high quality results and adheres to deadlines.
