Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Health Information Management experience in an acute care or healthcare setting.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and HIM applications.
• High School diploma or GED at hire; Associate degree preferred; RHIT/RHIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced HIM functions including document imaging and complex chart analysis.
• Resolve data integrity issues to ensure Master Patient Index accuracy.
• Manage record completion processes and reconcile rejected orders.
• Support release of information requests while meeting productivity and quality standards.
