Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks an HIM Specialist Sr at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE, to maintain the integrity, accuracy, and availability of patient health records.

You will perform advanced HIM tasks such as document imaging, chart analysis, and data integrity issue resolution, while supporting ROI requests and compliance with HIPAA.

Applicants should have at least two years of HIM experience in acute care, experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office; RHIT/RHIA preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HIM experience in an acute care or healthcare setting
• Proficiency with EMR systems and HIM applications
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree and RHIT/RHIA preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity, accuracy, and availability of patient health records throughout the lifecycle
• Perform document imaging, chart analysis, and resolution of data integrity issues
• Support release of information (ROI) requests and regulatory compliance
