Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to direct the implementation of self-funded new business clients. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to address critical issues and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.

As an individual contributor, you will plan multiple projects, manage milestones, coach junior colleagues, and drive process improvements while maintaining budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, healthcare implementation, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of healthcare client-facing experience, including direct management of client relationships, issue resolution, and successful delivery of healthcare products, services, or implementation initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning and execution of key projects, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and budget.
• Develops project plans, assigns team members, defines deliverables and milestones.
• Conducts post-mortems to apply lessons and improve processes.
• Implements quality control processes and manages risk with mitigation strategies.
• Develops change management strategies to minimize resistance and ensure adoption.
• Prepares progress reports highlighting achievements, risks and mitigations.
