Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Senior Health Equity Analyst/ Data Intelligence Analyst to translate clinical and business needs into data-driven insights that advance health equity. You will develop reports, dashboards, and data sets supporting health equity measures across diverse patient populations.

The role requires strong SQL, data querying, and BI skills with experience in reporting and visualization tools like Power BI and Python/R.

Qualifications

Five+ years’ experience with SQL, data querying, reporting, visualization, and BI technologies.
Experience supporting health equity, population health, or quality improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with health equity measures and population-level analytics.
Experience working with demographic and other patient population data.

Responsibilities

Translates end-user requests into complex business and technical requirements for health equity initiatives.
Develops reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions based on clinical needs and health equity measures.
Writes SQL code to extract, transform, and analyze data from diverse sources.
Analyzes clinical questions using quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns and gaps.
Presents findings to clinical, operational, and organizational decision-makers.
Supports data-informed strategies, performance measures, and improvement opportunities.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to translate findings into measurable actions.
