Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Senior Health Equity Analyst/ Data Intelligence Analyst to translate clinical and business needs into data-driven insights that advance health equity. You will develop dashboards, data sets, and analytical solutions to support health equity measures and outcomes across diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Five (5) plus years’ experience with SQL and data querying, reporting, visualization, and BI technologies.
• Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Python, and R for analytics.
• Hands-on experience building reports, dashboards, and data-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with health equity measures and population health analytics.
• Experience working with demographic and population data to evaluate disparities.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Translates end-user requests into complex requirements, data rules and quality specs for health equity initiatives.
• Develops specifications for reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Writes SQL code to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Analyzes business and clinical questions to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Produces reports, datasets, dashboards, and analytics in collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Supports measurement and monitoring of health disparities through population data.
• Partners with stakeholders to translate findings into data-informed strategies and KPIs.
• Participates in re-engineering workflows to improve equitable service delivery.
