Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Senior Health Equity Analyst/Data Intelligence Analyst to partner with clinical, operational, and technical teams. You will translate complex requirements into data-driven insights, develop reports, dashboards, and datasets that advance health equity, and evaluate disparities across diverse patient populations.

The role requires strong SQL and BI skills, with healthcare data expertise.

Qualifications

Five (5)+ years’ experience with SQL and data querying, reporting, visualization, and BI tools.
Experience with healthcare data analytics and health equity measures is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights using reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Translate business and clinical needs into data-driven insights
Develop reports, dashboards, and datasets supporting health equity measures
Write SQL and queries to extract and analyze data from internal/external sources
Analyze data to identify disparities in care delivery and outcomes
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights for health equity
Produce and communicate analytical deliverables to decision-makers
Support re-engineering of operational workflows to improve equity in care
Identify analytical options and recommend data-informed strategies
Explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
