Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Health Data Analyst to analyze health data within the Veeva Compass suite, focusing on record-level prescription and medical claims data to power longitudinal analytics.

You will govern the Terminology Reference Library (TRL), validate reference data across drug information, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, lab codes, and payer data, and ensure scalable integration into core schemas while maintaining high data quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years analyzing record-level prescription and medical claims datasets.
• 4+ years health data quality analysis, data profiling, and data governance principles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with large-scale relational databases.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare code sets: NDC, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, LOINC and payer/plan data.
• Experience with data storytelling and presenting findings to stakeholders using BI tools or dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Drive TRL Governance: maintain and expand the terminolgy reference library across datasets.
• Evaluate & integrate new data sources into core schemas.
• Execute data quality and cleansing workflows to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Investigate data anomalies and assess downstream customer impact.
• Build interactive dashboards to track data quality metrics and document processes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Developers to optimize data pipelines.
