Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Health Data Analyst on the Compass Patient Team to drive health data insights from our Compass Patient data product. You will own data investigations, improve data quality, and collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Engineers, and QA to enrich data and enable scalable analytics across billions of records.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of prescription and medical claims analysis, advanced SQL, and KPI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience analyzing prescription data and medical claims data.
• Advanced SQL skills; able to query and manipulate relational databases.
• Knowledge of Industry Standard billing codes such as ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NDC.
• Experience documenting and presenting analytics results with stakeholders.
• Experience defining KPIs and building dashboards to measure success.

Responsibilities

• Own the investigation and resolution of data observations and data questions driven by internal and external stakeholders.
• Understand our product pipeline and identify improvements.
• Build standard templates and practices to streamline data quality in target domains.
• Own key analytics projects in the data and feature roadmaps.
• Design new data analytics and data quality features & capabilities, including match/merge/dedupe logic, value enrichment and reference mappings.
• Establish quality metrics and build dashboards to drive continuous improvement of data products.
