Job summary

Point32Health, a not-for-profit health and well-being organization serving nearly 2 million members, seeks a Senior Contract Manager to lead contract negotiations with large physician and hospital networks. You will manage financial analyses, contract language, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with the legal team.

The role requires 5–7 years in managed healthcare, strong communication, and the ability to articulate Point32Health’s position to executive-level providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in managed healthcare.
• Experience in contract negotiations preferred.
• 8–10 years of related work experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Finance strength to support contract components and analysis.
• Ability to research, interpret, communicate, and resolve complex issues.
• Advanced analytics with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation of contractual arrangements with providers within targets and regulatory requirements.
• Develop proposals, oversights, and comprehensive contract documents with legal and financial terms.
• Coordinate with legal to ensure consistent contract provisions.
• Ensure compliance with state and national laws in contract language.
• Present Point32Health position to providers at executive levels.
• Analyze provider financial data for negotiations and risk arrangements.
• Collaborate with clinical, reporting, and quality teams on objectives for contracting cycles.
• Manage negotiations to meet key objectives for the cycle.
• Understand global budgets, unit costs, and provider financial performance using analytical tools.
