Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Senior Health Benefit Representative to educate and assist individuals enrolling in NY State of Health Marketplace coverage in the Bronx area. You will explain eligibility, tax credits, and plan features, and guide members through document submission and renewals.

Role requires strong communication, public speaking experience, and the ability to work evenings/weekends. A high school diploma and NY State of Health training are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-5 years in managed care, sales, customer service or related experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have prior public speaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist individuals with enrolling in coverage through NY State of Health Marketplace.
• Explain eligibility for public programs and tax credits.
• Teach members about Fidelis digital tools (portal, mobile app).
• Describe plan features, deductible/co-pay/coinsurance impacts.
• Support renewals and recertifications; handle complex cases and escalation.
