Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Health Actuarial Senior Consultant to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN. You will assist Benefit Consultants by delivering financial analysis, cost projections, plan design modeling, and monthly reports for employee benefit clients.

In this client-facing role, you will present data-driven insights, conduct demographic and claims analyses, and support the Sales team with prospective proposals and final presentations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employee benefits financial experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics.
• Active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License – or must obtain within a year of employment.
• Strong MS Excel skills and financial modeling ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist Benefits Consultants with financial projections and utilization analyses.
• Develop and present financial deliverables for current clients.
• Support demographic, claims, and IBNR analyses for prospective and existing clients.
• Coordinate with Sales on client finalist presentations.
