Qualifications

• Active DOE Q-level clearance or Top Secret is required at hire.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Significant experience managing facilities, equipment projects, or technical portfolios.
• Ability to lead strategic planning and manage complex portfolios.
• Demonstrated independence, judgment, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Experience building collaboration across organizations and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with NNSA and LLNL real property and equipment databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and technical oversight of the HE&E facilities and equipment portfolio.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute portfolio activities with independent judgment.
• Lead strategic planning for equipment and facility refurbishment investments.
• Coordinate with facility representatives, program leaders, and experts to align with mission priorities.
• Chair multidisciplinary technical review committees for facilities and equipment projects.
• Maintain internal and external property and equipment databases.
• Respond to data calls from NNSA and Laboratory Infrastructure.
• Support projects at S200 and S300 locations while ensuring standards compliance.
• Travel to NNSA and DoE sites as needed.
