Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in HDD industry with HDI design and HAMR exposure preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a quarterly basis and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and testing of HDD heads with HDI emphasis.
• Collaborate with Headway and SAE teams to address thermo-mechanical issues.
• Validate new designs on site and present to customers as needed.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed and quality targets met.
