Responsibilities

• Performs failure analysis and material characterization using AFM, SEM, Raman, and EDX.
• Designs and conducts HDI (Head Disk Interface) testing, analyzes results, and presents findings.
• Evaluates head and media reliability performance under various environmental and operating conditions.
• Troubleshoots issues and coordinates the repair of equipment/tools as needed.
• Collaborates with other groups or departments on projects and programs.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
