Job summary

Under the direction of the VP of Engineering, you will collaborate with global teams, validate designs on site, and present results to customers while ensuring safety and quality. A master's degree and 10+ years in HDD are required; international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
• Ten years of experience in the HDD industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and testing of HDD heads (HDI) and HAMR focus.
• Collaborate with wafer design and back-end teams at Headway and SAE.
• Validate new designs with on-site testing teams.
• Present HDI programs and products to customer groups.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
