Job summary

UST in Aliso Viejo, California seeks an experienced Senior HCM Consultant with deep Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation expertise. You will lead deployment teams, document client requirements, configure Workday solutions, create prototypes, and mentor junior consultants to share knowledge.

5+ years in HCM configuration, strong project management and communication are required. Travel about 5% to client sites is expected.

Senior HCM Consultant

The Role

As an AMS Senior Certified HCM Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic support for our client's Workday technology by delivering innovative ideas and effective solutions. Foster the development of other Consultants by sharing expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Provide expertise in the Workday HCM product suite, with deep expertise and experience in Advance Compensation.
• Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
• Work with confidential client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday
• Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
• Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model as well as coach others on product knowledge
• Communicate clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate effectively and synergistically to team-based projects
• Work with team members to address complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support
• Provide regular status reports to the project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
• Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications

What You Need

• Current Workday Partner HCM Certification and/or Advanced Compensation Certification 5+ years configuring and implementing various HCM solutions
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
• Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
• Demonstrated project management experience Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: HCM/Talent & Performance/Recruitment/Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking/Compensation
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Business analysis and requirements gathering abilitiesAbility to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
• Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously a plus
• Expected travel is +/-5% depending on project

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range: $150,000-$190,000
