Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Senior Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor for our Casa Grande, AZ facility. This role oversees fuels blending, lab pack decommissioning, and hazardous waste consolidation, working closely with the Plant Manager to optimize safety, compliance, and throughput.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in hazardous fuels operations, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of safety regulations. Onsite work with robust benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and lead teams, and report to senior management.
• 5-10+ years’ experience within the hazardous fuels operations industry.
• Experience importing/exporting hazardous fuels waste between Mexico and the United States.
• Proven managerial leadership and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Excellent rail logistics and warehousing planning capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and the full MS Office suite.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.
• OSHA Hazwoper certification and DOT hazardous materials training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hazardous waste operations, including fuels blending, lab pack decommissioning, and solids consolidation.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize processes and safety.
• Lead, train, and mentor staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards across operations.
• Collaborate with Environmental, Health, and Safety personnel to enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of hazardous waste materials and manage logistics.
• Build relationships with downstream kilns and rail operators for efficient throughput.
• Carry out on-call Emergency Response duties and support plant management.
