Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan seeks a Senior Supervisor Haulage/Crush and Convey to lead the safe, efficient operation of a mining and milling unit at the Henderson facility near Denver. Under general supervision, you will supervise Supervisors and ensure production plans are executed, coordinating with Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales.

The position requires either a high school diploma with seven years of supervisory experience or a technical degree with three years,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 7 years of supervisory/lead experience OR a Bachelor's degree with 3 years supervisory/lead experience.
• Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques.
• Budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate safe, efficient operation of an assigned work unit through Supervisors.
• Execute production plan to ensure continuous operations.
• Provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance with laws.
• Coordinate daily with Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales.
• Directly supervise first-line or shift Supervisors.
• Perform other duties as required.
