Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a Supervisor Electrical Maintenance for the Crush/Convey operations at Sierrita, located ~20 miles from Tucson, AZ. The role oversees a work unit, ensuring safe, efficient maintenance and adherence to production plans, while leading staff and controlling resources.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma (or GED) with related operational and supervisory experience, or a technical mining degree with internship exposure and leadership background.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, and five (5) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical mining-related discipline with at least one (1) internship experience (or equivalent) in a mining or industrial environment, including supervisory or lead experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, coordinate, and control the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit.
• Assign, supervise, and review the work of staff; implement production plans according to approved schedules.
• Prepare estimates for staffing, materials, and equipment; maintain inventories and approve purchases.
