Job summary

Anduril Industries in Reston, VA seeks a Senior Design Validation Engineer to lead the validation of custom hardware from planning through execution in a fast-paced hardware lab.

You will design and build test fixtures, write software/firmware for measurements (Python/C++), exercise high-speed digital, RF, and analog circuits, validate interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB), and drive root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams to ensure MIL-ready products before shipment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hardware design validation or related experience.
• Experience authoring and executing design validation plans (DVPs).
• Hands-on with electronic test equipment and bench debugging.
• Ability to read schematics and PCBs to plan validation coverage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute validation of custom hardware designs.
• Design and build test fixtures and write software/firmware to exercise designs.
• Configure and operate test equipment for validation campaigns (EE tools).
• Perform root-cause analysis on validation failures with design teams.
• Document results and produce validation reports supporting milestones.
