Anduril Industries in Reston, VA, is seeking a Senior Design Validation Engineer to lead end-to-end hardware validation campaigns. You will plan, build fixtures, write scripts, select test equipment, and execute verification to prove designs meet requirements before shipment.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, FPGA, and systems teams, developing tests and documenting results for program milestones in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifikationen

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance required and maintainable.
• 7+ years in hardware design validation or related fields with validation responsibility.
• Experience authoring and executing design validation plans (DVPs) against written requirements.
• Hands-on proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum/network analyzers, power supplies/loads).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts for validation coverage.
• Experience developing custom hardware test fixtures and the supporting software/firmware (Python, C/C++, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB.
• Familiarity with MCU/CPU/FPGA devices and bringing them up on bench.
• Knowledge of analog/digital electronics and failure modes.
• Ability to prioritize work from broad direction and communicate effectively.
• Ability to integrate into company culture and collaborate.

• Plan and execute validation of custom hardware designs with cross-functional teams.
• Create validation plans mapping requirements to tests and standards.
• Design/build test fixtures and software/firmware to exercise designs.
• Configure test equipment for each campaign and run validations.
• Perform design verification across high-speed digital, analog, RF, and power domains.
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions with design teams.
• Participate in design reviews focusing on testability and validation.
• Document results and generate reports for milestones and deliverables.
• Juggle multiple validation efforts across projects and customers.
