Job summary

Motive is seeking a Sr. Manager, Hardware TPM in San Francisco with a hybrid work model. You will lead the Hardware TPM function, align cross-functional hardware programs from concept through launch, and drive reliable connected-device experiences for customers.

You will collaborate with hardware, product, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, operations, embedded, and software teams to set priorities, manage risk, and deliver against objectives. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in hardware product development or TPM.
• 5+ years leading or managing technical program managers or engineering teams.
• Experience delivering complex connected-device hardware from concept through launch.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy, cadence, and execution standards for the Hardware TPM function.
• Lead cross-functional programs spanning electrical, mechanical, RF, camera, compliance, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Establish integrated program plans, milestones, phase gates, risk management, and exec reporting.
• Manage Compliance as well as Sustaining TPMs and New Product Development.
• Drive decisions on scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and trade-offs across programs.
• Identify improvements to hardware development processes, tools, and operating mechanisms.
• Build and coach a high-performing Hardware TPM team.
• Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
