Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Technical Program Manager to guide advanced hardware and software programs from concept through production. You will work closely with design, product, and leadership to deliver world-class 3D printers and ensure program success.

This in-person role is based in Somerville, MA. You will own budgets, cost models, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery and cost targets while shipping impactful products to thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Program Management experience.
• Deep understanding of a technical product design life cycle & problem solving processes.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to drive decision making, e.g. trade-off discussions and program strategy.
• Experience communicating upwards to senior management, while managing high output from individual contributors.

Responsibilities

• Ship the best product as fast as possible.
• Manage the strategy, overall planning, execution, and delivery of technically complex products from concept through production.
• Own the program budget, including staffing plans; be responsible for every dollar spent on a project.
• Create and maintain product cost models and ensure end product cost targets are met.
• Act as the key link between the program team and stakeholders, including reporting to leadership.
