Job summary

Formlabs is hiring a Hardware Product Manager to define and drive new hardware products, partnering with Engineering to deliver value to customers and the market. You will own requirements, roadmap, and go-to-market plans while balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

You will collaborate across teams to ship impactful hardware-software products and influence the Formlabs portfolio through data-driven decision making and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Hardware engineering or physics background.
• Experience shipping software-enabled hardware product to customers.
• Experience as a product founder or experience leading products in a startup environment.
• Make data driven decisions.
• Clear communicator, both written and oral.
• Process oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify user needs and develop product requirements and a product roadmap.
• Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools and review direction frequently.
• Write clear, crisp, detailed product specifications.
• Coordinate collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure teams have what they need.
• Help guide the go-to-market and maintenance plans through product launch and beyond.
• Monitor feedback, support, and analytics to plan improvements.
• Develop understanding of customers, business, competitors, and technology.
• Work with leadership to create a coherent product strategy and connect to wider business goals.
• Identify new opportunities adjacent to current work and propose new products.
• Serve as the voice of the customer during product launches.
