Job summary

Raytheon in Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeks a Principal Specialist Hardware Test Engineer to lead testing of complex electronic modules and develop automated test solutions, collaborating with hardware, software, and program teams.

A STEM degree with 5+ years of hardware test experience is required. Proficiency with LabVIEW, TestStand, oscilloscope, RF testing, and PCB characterization is expected. DoD Secret clearance is required; relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with testing electronics such as PCBs and circuit card assemblies; troubleshooting and testing complex electronics subassemblies and systems.
• Developing and maintaining test software and GUI/TPS; working with test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead problem solving for complex electronic modules, including PCBs and circuit card assemblies.
• Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification, and production acceptance.
• Evaluate developmental electronic systems and signal processing subsystems.
• Review designs and create test solutions for manufacturing and service environments.
• Design test hardware and automate test software; integrate with end product.
