Job summary

Raytheon in Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeks a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer Tech Lead for onsite work. You will partner with weapon test system designers to translate requirements into robust electrical solutions, integrating hardware and software to support test, qualification, and delivery efforts.

The role requires a STEM degree, 10+ years of experience in test engineering, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading complex test system engineering activities, including hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance in production/manufacturing/product qualification environments.
• Experience directing the design, development, and/or integration of test equipment and leading teams of professionals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a lab environment with weapon test system designers to understand requirements and design solutions.
• Integrate and deploy systems supporting test and tactical software development, testing, and delivery of missiles.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, suppliers, and external partners.
