Job summary

Northrop Grumman in the United States is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to oversee multiple program teams focused on hardware integration and subsystem-level testing. The role requires a technical degree, strong RF/Microwave expertise, leadership experience, and proficiency in MATLAB and C++.

Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required; relocation support is available and travel up to 10%. You will drive design decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to advanced aerospace

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline with 14 years of experience or 12 with a Master’s and/or 10 with a PhD, plus 4 years in lieu of a degree.
  • US Citizenship is required and an Active Secret Clearance.
  • Expertise in RF/Microwave, antenna performance analysis, and test verification.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Visual Basic, and C++ for scripting and debugging.
  • Ability to lead technical teams, plan, prioritize, and identify issues early.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight to multiple program teams of engineers.
  • Perform subsystem analysis from RF to digits and support performance testing.
  • Lead technical teams toward predetermined long-range goals.
  • Develop and maintain electrical systems and test environments.
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and requirements across projects.
