Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer III to lead Drone End of Line Test Systems for the MK30 program. You will design, develop, and improve EOLT hardware, ensuring each drone passes rigorous verification before entering service.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive automation to scale production while balancing performance, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience with 3D CAD.
• Experience using test instrumentation, data-acquisition systems, and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Drone End of Line Test Systems design and development.
• Drive Acceptance Test Procedure Development & Documentation.
• Hardware Integration & Troubleshooting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with production, drone systems/subsystems and drone and test system software teams.
• Respond to manufacturing floor escalations (drone test failures, hardware anomalies).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews.
