We are seeking a Hardware Development Engineer III to join our Test and Infrastructure team within Amazon Prime Air. This role involves design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Drone End of Line Test (EOLT) systems for the MK30 drone program at Amazon Prime Air. You will serve as the technical lead for EOLT hardware and acceptance test procedures for drone manufacturing ensuring that every drone coming off the production line passes rigorous functional verification before entering service. This role bridges manufacturing engineering, test systems design, and developing new systems for scaled production needs.
A day in life revolves around driving design updates on existing test systems, coming up with automation ideas to support scaled production, working with production team to identify issues/bottlenecks including coordination meetings, triaging any drone test failures, presenting required test procedure changes at the Technical Review Board and mentoring other junior engineers.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
