Job summary

Oracle in Burlington, MA is seeking a Senior Hardware Technician to execute hands-on lab work including PCB rework, server configuration, and system bring-up. You will support hardware validation, calibration, and lab readiness in a full-time, on-site role.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in electronics labs, with experience in soldering, PCB repair, and OS installation. Excellent communication and documentation are required for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electronics labs, hardware validation, or data center hardware.
• Experience soldering and PCB rework (through-hole/SMT) with common tools.
• Experience assembling, configuring, troubleshooting servers or HPC hardware, including bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB and hardware rework using standard lab equipment.
• Configure, build, and bring up servers per documented requirements.
• Update firmware and install OS; verify boot and basic health checks.
• Record results, communicate status, and support lab infrastructure (racks, cables, PDUs).
• Maintain organized lab, manage supplies, procurement support, and calibration coordination.
