Meta seeks a Hardware Systems Engineer to validate and ready AI and HPC hardware for production in global data centers. You will work across AI silicon, server systems, firmware, and software teams to bring accelerators and GPU platforms from NPI to deployment.

Responsibilities include defining acceptance criteria, executing test plans for thermal and electrical characteristics, investigating failures, and driving production readiness with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 6+ years in hardware engineering for AI/HPC in data centers.
• 6+ years in hardware validation and bring-up.
• Experience debugging power, thermal, signal integrity, or interconnects.

Responsabilités

• Lead hardware system validation for AI server platforms and GPU clusters.
• Define acceptance criteria and coordinate cross-functional bring-up reviews.
• Develop test plans for thermal, power, and electrical characterization.
• Investigate root causes across AI silicon, firmware, and software.
• Collaborate with silicon vendors and ODMs to resolve issues.
• Improve qualification methodologies for large fleet deployments.
• Support deployment planning and production ramp for AI accelerators.
• Analyze telemetry and field returns to identify reliability risks.
• Contribute to hardware design reviews and charger manufacturability.
• Communicate qualification status to stakeholders and leadership.
