Job summary

Meta's Accelerator Reference Design Team is seeking a System Engineer to design, implement, and support hardware management for Meta’s AI accelerators. You will specify requirements for device management, drive integration into fleet management, and shape the ecosystem direction for Meta's AI hardware.

The role requires deep hands-on experience across silicon, hardware, and software, leading design and debugging efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale management across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience implementing management solutions for server systems.
• 4+ years designing or specifying custom silicon management.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Specify, develop, and integrate device management for Meta's AI hardware.
• Collect requirements and develop specs for AI/HPC ASIC management and debug functionality.
• Develop and maintain code, to collect, analyze, and interpret data for accelerator fleet statistics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed management specifications for silicon and platforms.
• Develop concepts and proof-of-concept experiments to improve reliability and visibility of AI accelerators.
• Specify and design the module and ASIC management of Meta's custom AI silicon so that it integrates well with data centers and fleet.
