Job summary

Meta seeks a Hardware Engineer to validate and bring AI server platforms, GPUs, and AI accelerators into production within Meta's data centers. You will collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, and capacity teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of AI infrastructure powering Meta's ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of hardware engineering experience with AI servers, GPUs, or HPC in data centers.
• 6+ years in hardware validation, system bring-up, or AI/HPC NPI.
• Experience debugging hardware failures across power, thermal, SI, or high-speed interconnects (PCIe, NVLink, or HBM).
• Experience creating test specs, qualification procedures, and failure analysis docs.
• Experience collaborating with silicon vendors or CM to resolve hardware quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware system validation and qualification for AI server platforms, GPU clusters, and AI accelerators in production data centers.
• Define acceptance criteria and coordinate bring-up with silicon, firmware, and software teams.
• Develop and execute test plans for thermal, power, and electrical characterization at component, board, and rack levels.
• Investigate root-cause of complex hardware failures across the full stack.
• Collaborate with AI silicon vendors and ODMs to resolve issues and ensure production quality.
