Future Ventures is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Design Engineer in Austin, Texas to lead the design and development of hardware platforms. You'll be responsible for transforming silicon capabilities into manufacturable hardware designs, ensuring robust performance and working closely with teams for integration.

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in hardware design, skills in high-speed systems, and familiarity with PCB design tools. A builder mindset is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in hardware or board-level design.
• Strong background in high-speed digital design and power delivery.
• Experience designing and bringing up complex PCBs.
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of reference boards and hardware platforms.
• Drive schematic design and guide PCB layout.
• Partner with OSATs and manufacturing vendors for integration.
• Support board bring-up and collaborate on debugging system-level issues.
